Microsoft Announces Future Launch of Windows 7

Microsoft has just announced the next release of Microsoft Windows called Windows 7, code named Vienna! Windows 7 has a release date prediction of late 2009 or early 2010. This release is going to be a major improvement over their current installment, Vista. Windows 7 is going to mostly focus on stability improvements and backwards compatibility. Windows 7 is working on being completely compatable with all Windows programs for Windows 98, NT, 2000, XP, and Vista. Microsoft Windows hopes to revive its name after an unsuccessful public opinion for Vista.

Windows 7 will also offer some new features including multi-touch support (for trackpads and touch screens), a scientific calculator, and many more minor improvements. Windows 7 will also offer options including a view all programs, a hide gadgets button, and a right-click display and personalize menu.
